TAYA FORD

Taya was born in beautiful Cairns, Australia, home to the Great Barrier Reef and the breath-taking Daintree Rainforest… With such wonderous natural surroundings, it’s no surprise that Taya has always loved the outdoors and the animal world. A love that has certainly not diminished since moving to the UAE in 2011.

Taya is studying to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse through the University of Queensland and GVC are very proud to be able to host Taya’s practical learning and ongoing work experience.

Away from work and studies…, Taya’s passion and pleasure will always centre upon our furry, feathery and scaley friends… in short she loves all animals and has an extended pet family including her two beloved pooches, Diesel & Sophie, two kitties, Tonka & Gremlin, two rabbits, Patrick & Peter… and Tommy the Tortoise plus an aquarium of piscine pals.

With hobbies that include wildlife photography, art and an insatiable appetite to learn about the natural world, a career working with animals is definitely the way to go… plus in Taya’s own words “I love animals! I love helping animals whenever I can, I find it very rewarding. My animals are what makes me want to get up in the morning…”

With this level of passion and motivation, we know Taya is going to have a fantastic career in the Veterinary industry and will make a massive difference to many patients lives!
