Dr Costa Daraban

Dr Costa graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iasi, Romania. Following graduation, Dr Costa continued to study and completed both his Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Science….. clearly Dr Costa takes real pleasure in learning!

Throughout Dr Costa’s academic career, he carried out a number of externships and placements around Europe, gaining experience at several referral centres and specialist facilities… where he found and honed his passion for diagnostics and radiology in particular. On completion of his PHD, Dr Costa took up a specialist radiologist role for a few years before making the decision to broaden his Veterinary career and find new challenges in the UAE.

Since arriving in the UAE, Dr Costa is re-acquainting himself with Small Animal Practice and the variety of skills and knowledge the field requires… whilst, of course, providing the team with diagnostic support and expertise!

Away from work, Dr Costa likes the quiet life and is a devoted family man (plus he loves to study).

Dr Costa is an important part of the highly skilled team at German Veterinary Clinic, one of the longest-running vet clinics in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
