Dr Dana graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a master’s in veterinary emergencies from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Agronomical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. Her career started early whilst she gathered practical skills as a veterinary assistant in a small animal practice during her study years. This was followed by further post-graduate employment in Romania before Dr Dana made the decision to seek new experiences and challenges in the UAE!
Since arriving in the UAE, Dr Dana ignited her passion for cats, feline medicine and, excitingly, ophthalmology.
Which makes it easy to understand why Dr Dana has adopted two Abu Dhabi rescue cats – Silver and Trompi – and is now pursuing a Postgraduate Ophthalmology Certificate!
In between consults, she loves nursing and cuddling the clinic’s furry patients and GVC’s gang of lovable clinic kitties.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her own pets, listening to music, going to the gym and loves a variety of outdoor activities such as sailing and archery.
She is an important part of the highly-skilled team at German Veterinary Clinic, one of the longest running vet clinics in United Arab Emirates (UAE), located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
